This privacy policy explains what the Slim Metrix independent guide collects when you visit, what we do with it, and what we never do. We keep it deliberately short, because we deliberately collect very little.

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run a shop, so we do not collect names, addresses or payment details. Our host and analytics provider record standard technical information — IP address, browser and device type, referring page and the pages you view — in aggregate, to keep the site working and to understand which guides people find useful.

Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits. Affiliate links may set a cookie recorded by the seller’s tracking platform so that a purchase is attributed to this site. That cookie tells us a sale happened; it does not tell us who you are.

What happens when you click through to the official store

Our buy links send you to the official Slim Metrix website, which is operated by the seller, not by us. Once you leave this site, the seller’s own privacy policy and terms apply to anything you enter there — your name, address and payment details are collected and stored by the seller and its payment processor. We never see them.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not send unsolicited email, and we do not share data with third parties except where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data relates to you, to request its deletion, or to object to processing. Email us and we will act on any reasonable request.
